Tango is "the smartest dog in the whole wide world". Not only has she
flown through level 1 and 2, but she is more reliable than the alarm
clock. Getting through the last couple of weeks in level 2 was the most
difficult for the "Tango-nator" but she prevailed and now working on
those skills is almost becoming second nature for her. All this and
only eight months old. We hope to start level three when nicer weather
comes. Gee, I never got classes outside when I was at school.

This was such a wonderful class to be a part of and Loki enjoyed the
socialization. At first she was a bit timid, but with each class she
became more confident. She stopped pulling on the leash as well and
learned to sit on command. Her heeling is so wonderful, and she's now
a real pleasure to take out for walks. When she picks up something
she shouldn't have, it's no longer a challenge to get her to drop it.
Dorothy's fantastic sense of humour made the classes so much fun, and
her clarity in instruction grounded all of us. We get alot of
compliments on our well behaved doggie!! We thank you Dorothy and we
thank your wonderful team of trainers!! We're continuing to learn each
week as we complete the second level of obedience training.

improvement in her ability to listen and show how intelligent she truely is! We

Jessie was rescued by the SPCA because of the deplorable living
conditions in which his owner kept him. He then spent a few months in
an overcrowded shelter in Eastern Ontario. When we adopted him, his
manners with dogs and with people he found threatening were
nonexistent; taking him out was a stressful ordeal. Dorothy's classes
taught us how to let Jessie be the wonderful and intelligent dog that
he is. After progressing through Obedience I and II, and Agility I,
Jessie has confidence in his abilities and in our leadership. He says
agility is a lot more fun than obedience because of the treats. He
hopes to take Level II soon.

Sydney came in to my life in the spring of 2003, my first dog, my first
rescue, and truly the most profound bonding experience I've ever had.
He is a typical "hound", and would pull and tug and try to run off at
every chance, though at home he was a lap-dog wanna be. I was near
tears when Dorothy first met us and explained to me the "mystery of
heel". Amen. Sydney went from an unruly (yet sweet) beast to a dog
that will walk well in a heel (with a haltie, mind you), will sit and
stay, come on lead, and "down" (that last one is still a challenge...).
I'm thinking of doing agility with him next to deepen our bond and keep
his agile limbs, mine and nose busy! Dorothy is my Dog Whisperer, and
has gotten me through some pretty emotional and rough training times
when I didn't think I would learn a thing!!

of agility and tolerating the world that is Rally-O, despite being very

HRH was the worst dog ever and this was his last chance: was my foster
dog but was unadoptable so it was keep him or put him down. He had
bitten me (and only me) so many times because he is so dominant,
although he loved everyone who didn’t try to control him. Even with
her “falcon gloves” Dorothy could not get him to lie die! Took me 2
years but now he does it like an angel! He remembers every command,
and is an excellent although sadly, aging, pet – he is close to 17 now.
He is almost blind now, and has had 13 teeth removed, but he is still
agile, otherwise healthy and thanks to Dorothy, a good boy! I can
always tell a Dorothy-trained dog when I hear the familiar “ Ah-Ah”
stern sound in the park!

Ella has learned a lot in her first level of dog school. Maybe the most
important thing was to meet other puppies to play with and learn how to
interact with other dogs. She learned the commands in class very
quickly. For us it took sometimes a little longer. But since we finally
understood how to tell Ella what to do, the communication is now easier
and more enjoyable. Many thanks to Dorothy and all of the team. We

Lucy is the sweetest girl. She loves people and especially children.
She enjoys street car rides and will hop into any car that opens their door
looking for another adventure. She enjoyed kitty snacks (Cat box), sleeping
on my bed, greeting everyone by jumping up with wet and dirty paws and eating
other dogs...that was until will sought out the expertise of Dorothy. Lucy has
since given up her bad habits but puts her paws down at giving up kitty treats.
She understands that there are no kisses from her pack if she chooses to
continue with this behaviour.
Non the less we owe a huge thank you to Dorothy and her team.

Rocco just completed Beginner Level 1 and will now move on to Level II.
We are very proud of him and his new obedience to the basic commands taught
by Dorothy and her team. Rocco loved seeing his friends in class each week
and would constantly try to get some play time in between lessons. Who knew a
dog could learn so much in just 6 weeks. Definitely a sign of some great teachers!!

exactly where we told her to. We can't wait to join level two next
and then on to some agility. The skys the limit with Dorothy's
help. Blondie is very grateful for this new life.

goodness for Dorothy! Together we were able to teach Disco some
rules without breaking his spirit. Now he’s happier (and safer)

I so love Dorothy's approach about establishing the right
relationship between the dog and its owner, and her emphasis
that this is a dog, not a person and understanding what that
really means. Since taking Dorothy's class Pepe and I get
on much better, now that we know what is expected of each
other and who actually is top dog (hint: it's not Pepe!).
Looking forward to taking Dorothy's Level II class and then
putting this hyperactive little guy into agility. Now that
should be fun!
